This slaw utilizes an asian dressing to enhance the flavor of purple cabbage, carrots, and spring onions. It can be eaten as a meal, or served in smaller portions as a side.

Asian Slaw


    Asian Dressing:
  • 2 1/2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 1/2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 1/2 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1" grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • Asian Slaw
  • 1 small purple cabbage
  • 2 large carrots
  • 4 spring onions
  • asian dressing


  1. Wash the cabbage, and julienne it. Put it into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Wash, peel, and grate the carrots, and add them to the mixing bowl.
  3. Wash and slice the spring onions into 2" lengths, and then slice them in half lengthways. Add them to the mixing bowl.
  4. Prepare the dressing by combining all of the ingredients in a small mixing bowl, and whisking together.
  5. Pour the dressing over the vegetables, and toss well.
  6. Serve, and season with salt and pepper if desired.
