This vegan Garlic Mozzarella Sauce is a perfect sauce to use on a veggie burger, wrap, or pasta salad. By utilizing ingredients such as nutritional yeast and miso, you can achieve a “cheesy” taste without the use of any dairy!

Garlic Mozzarella Sauce

Garlic Mozzarella Sauce

Soak the cashews for 4 - 6 hours to deactivate enzyme inhibitors.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cashews
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 large garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp chickpea miso
  • 1 tsp coconut aminos
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Himalayan salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth.
