Instead of buying hummus from a grocery store, why not make it yourself? It is a very simple and easy dip to throw together, and it usually tastes better homemade than store bought.

Sundried Tomato Hummus

If you want to make this hummus raw, simply use 1 cup of soaked cashews in place of the chickpeas.


  • 1 15oz cans chickpeas
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sundried tomatoes
  • 4 large garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Himalayan salt


  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth.
  2. Serve with vegetables, chips, or on a sandwich.
